Alley was dominant early, allowing just one hit in the first 5 innings. Alley finished with 8 strike-outs, no walks, 4 hits and 1 run allowed to pick-up his first win of the season. Sophomore Sam Green made his varsity pitching debut in the seventh in impression fashion, strking-out the side in order. Greely plated all the runs they would need in the second. Ryan Pote walked with the bases loaded and Ryan Copp followed with a deep double to center driving in three. Brad Martin followed with a single to center, scoring Copp. Copp added an RBI double to left center in the fourth and Andrew Bisbing had an RBI double in the fifth to deep right center. Copp recorded his fifth RBI of the afternoon, as he capped the scoring in the sixth with and RBI single scoring Ryan Pote. Andy Crawford had an RBI single in the sixth scoring Justin Morrill for Yarmouth’s lone run. Greely improved to 1-1 and Yarmouth dropped to 0-2.
