After losing twice to Poland in the regular season, the Greely Rangers scored 4 runs in the top of the first inning and hung on to win 5-3 and capture the schools first Western Maine Baseball Championship since 1999. Matt Reade had a RBI single and Nate Mecray added a 2 RBI double to key the 4 run first inning. Reade added a RBI double in the seventh to cap the scoring. Caleb Jordan went the distance allowing 7 hits while striking-out seven. Jordan appeared to get stronger as the game went on being clocked at 87 mph in the seventh inning after 100 pitches.
