Freshman Mike Leeman and Junior Ben Russell combined on a 10 inning 4-hit shut-out and sophomore Matt Labbe's RBI single in the top of the tenth inning gave the Greely Rangers an upset 1-0 semi-final play-off win over the Cape Elizabeth Capers. Leeman took the shut-out into the eighth, allowing just 4 hits while striking-out five. Russell entered the game with a man on first and no outs in the eighth. After a sac-bunt and an intentional walk, he induced two fly-outs to work out of the jam. Russell did not allow a hit in 3 innings of work. Nate Martin led off the tenth for the Rangers with a single. He advanced to third on an error, Pat Copp moved to second. After an intentional walk and a force-out out the plate, Labbe delivered the game winner, driving in pinch-runner Matti Ingraham.
