After giving up a run on a walk and three hits in the first inning, Brandon Gallagher settled down pitching 5 scoreless innings for the win. Gallagher finished with 3 strike-outs, 6 hits allowed, 1 earned run and 3 walks in the 3-1 victory. Caleb Jordan struck-out the side in the seventh for his second save. After going hitless for the first 4 innings, Caleb Jordan walked with one-out in the fifth, Matt McDonough followed with a hard single to left. With 2 on, Andrew Cimino hit a hard shot that got through the second basemen scoring Jordan. McDonough scored the second run on Adam Nortons ground-out to shortstop. Ryan Robb scored on Matt McDonoughs fielders choice in the bottom of the sixth for the final run. The Rangers defense turned 2 double plays. In the sixth, Sam Stauber speared a short-hop up the middle, tagged second and threw to first for two key outs. The Rangers improved to 12-1.
