The Poland Knights beat the Greely Rangers 3-2 at Greely to capture the Western Maine Conference League Championship. The Knights took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh. Pat Copp led off the inning with a walk. Matt McDonough followed with a double to right. Nate Mecray drove in pinch-runner Jonas Maynard to cut the lead to 3-2 with one out. The game ended when Andrew Cimino lined-out to the pitcher who doubled-up the runner at second. The Rangers scored their first run on a RBI single by Matt Reade. The Rangers end the regular season 14-2.
